Soul tavern and Spanish spirit. La Bodeguilla de Cristóbal must be one of the strongest and best tasting of the Bellavista neighborhood restaurant.
For two years, this place has preserved traditional flavors of the country in a silently manner, which has put over the table without paraphernalia or artificial more than the good taste.
::: Starter :::
Now, they just add new dishes to their already tasty offer, starting with a smooth, creamy Salmorejo, cold soup tomatoes, like gazpacho, but that doesn’t carry cucumber or pepper. The result is a vibrant stew, with a creamy texture and refreshing taste.
A Fried Bacalao a la Vizcaína debuts to sharer, strong-flavor fish cubes with the proper seasoning of this product.
::: Main Dishes :::
Recipes with this fish do not stay on the appetizers only, because we find a main dish of Meatballs Cod “a la Murciana”, creamy soft circles in a mild sauce.
A delicate and homemade dish
Another novelty is the Lamb Rump (Cuadril de Cordero), intense preparation, thanks to hours of slow cooking, cutting it just looking at this, where again the care of a kitchen stays true to the rustic flavors feel.
We finished with a remarkable Paella rice Chickpeas and Octopus Pump, a must for this place, with intense flavors, which combines so passionate about the flavors of the sea and land.
Just was guilty to be salty.
::: Conclusion :::
La Bodeguilla de Cristóbal is doing well. No wonder if tables were bussy in each visit, as a honest and unpretentious cuisine tastes like and not only surprised, but also conquer enough to become a place of header.
