| The Food
Many classics can be found at Signore to snack on and cure any tasty cravings. A plate of “Bruschetta” can range from traditional to not so much, such as with peppers, caramelized onion, and the appropriate garnish on top of crispy bread.
Definitely try one of the many pasta dishes offered, “Spaghetti and Clams” with the perfect acidic sauce, providing a well balanced pasta experience. I would also suggest the Gnocchi, it has the right texture and taste for a the potato based pasta.
Signore offers a broad selection of pizza with vegetarian and meat friendly selections. Lets begin with not only four, but a “Five Cheese” pizza with gorgonzola, blue cheese, ricotta, mozzarella, and one more that I forget, but you get the point. These flavorful cheeses combine to create a powerful taste that resides well after your done eating.
A new pizza is the “Pastalera”, a mixture of crushed corn and parmesan with fresh tomato and basil. This is a very South American style of pizza with the added yellow corn and cheese puré providing a fresh flavor.
“Alto Andes” is a wonderfully tasty pizza with a smoked Italian ham by the name of Speck, included are sliced mushrooms. This is one of my favorite pizzas offered. The meaty flavor from the ham and mushrooms is nicely contrasted by the fresh acidic sauce and cheese.
If your close to Constanera Center and want to get some good food, you can find tasty pizza in Santiago at Signore. With the true Italian ingredients and a broad selection of dishes available, theres something to be enjoyed by everyone.
